No injuries were reported after a minor crash involving two Marysville Schools buses Friday morning.
According to a report from the Union County Sheriff’s Office, at about 7:27 a.m. bus 28 struck the back of bus 31 at the Collins Avenue stoplight on U.S. 36. Both were traveling north.
The driver of bus number 28, Brandie M. Craig, 41, of Marysville, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Chief Deputy Tom Morgan, Craig estimated she hit the other vehicle at about five miles per hour.
Morgan said there were six high school students on bus number 31, though no reported injuries.
The crash resulted in cosmetic damage, and both buses continued on with their routes after authorities investigated the scene.
