Plain City Police Chief Dale McKee, at right, took a moment during the most recent council meeting to honor Sergeant Tharon Prather, at left, for 20 years of service with the Plain City Police Department. McKee highlighted Prather’s dedication, ethics and morals, calling him “one of the most dedicated officers I have at the police department.” McKee said he knew very early on in Prather’s time with PCPD that he would be committed to serving the village for years to come, as one of the very first calls he responded to involved an infant who was killed by their parent.
