The Village of Plain City will receive a $250,000 grant from the State of Ohio through Gov. Mike DeWine’s $93 million dollar infrastructure project. Lt. Gov. Jon Husted, pictured above, announced the grant at the village’s municipal building Tuesday morning. Also pictured are David Kell with the Madison County Chamber of Commerce, left, and Plain City Mayor Jody Carney. The grant will be matched with $154,000 locally and will be used to insulate a 10-inch line from the village’s water treatment plant down Wesley Street and Jackson Boulevard.
