Traffic on Route 38, between Walker Woods Lane and Seventh Street, has been reduced to one lane to allow for repaving by the Ohio Department of Transportation. Flaggers will maintain two-way traffic on the road. Crews, shown above near Royal Oak Drive, are starting at the south end of the project and working north toward the city. Both lanes are expected to open by Oct. 13. The Union County Engineers Office has also closed Shirk Road, between 19690 Shirk Road and Dog Leg Road for a large culvert replacement. Officials expect the culvert project to be completed in two weeks.
