The Union County Community Concert Association will bring the Aladdin Shrine Band to Bunsold Middle School for a show on Thursday, March 19, at 7:30 p.m..
Based in Grove City, the local Aladdin Shrine Band will present their special program titled “Dixie Land.” Shine Band concerts help Shrine hospitals around the world support children with orthopedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries and birth defects regardless of the a patients ability to pay.
This dedicated group of musicians have joined together to enlighten and entertain the communities in central Ohio. A musical piece “Children of the Shrine,” written by local composer James Swearingen, is played at most concerts. The music is dedicated to the efforts of Shrine hospitals.
This talented group of volunteer musicians delights in playing for any venue in the community. All proceeds are donated in support of the philanthropic mission of Shriner’s internationally. More information can be found at aladdinshrine.org.
