The pre-dawn hours this morning were filled with flashing lights and the sound of shovels and plows clearing the lots of local businesses. Union County got several inches of snow Sunday, which continued into this morning. Snow and sub-freezing temperatures are expected continue into Tuesday at least. Above, employees Emily Madsen and Kaylee Elliot work to clean the walks and vacuum bays at the Moo Moo Express Car Wash on Delaware Avenue in Marysville. Next door (below), at Sunbelt Tool Rental, employees used the merchandise, including a skid-steer loader to clear the lot and pile snow. The snow prompted cancellation of classes at North Union, Fairbanks, Jon Alder, Triad and Marysville.
