Two individuals were transported from the scene of a two-vehicle crash on Route 4 Thursday afternoon. Eric Clevenger, 27, of Blanchester was reportedly driving a gray Hyundai Sonata southbound on Route 4, on the bridge over U.S. 33, when he traveled left of center at 2:34 p.m. and struck a northbound white Honda Pilot, driven by Sheila Webb, 68, of Marysville. Marysville Police Department Deputy Chief Bo Spain said Clevenger was transported by MedFlight to a Columbus hospital, though he was unsure which facility. Webb was transported by medic to Memorial Hospital. Spain said he did not believe there were passengers in either vehicle, though a full crash report was not available before press time. He said the incident is still under investigation, but he does not believe alcohol was a factor. Clevenger was cited for not driving in marked lanes. The portion of Route 4 over U.S. 33 was closed from approximately 2:40 p.m. until 4:20 p.m.
