Alice Victoria Zink Holloway of Marysville died peacefully in her home surrounded by her loved ones on Monday, November 29, 2021.
She was born May 26, 1940 in Findlay, Ohio to Clarence M. and Agatha B. Walters Zink.
Alice spent her childhood in Springfield, Ohio and there she met the love of her life, Ray-mond G. “Shark” Holloway. They were married in August of 1958 and enjoyed almost 60 years of married life together before Ray passed in April of 2017.
She was a dedicated employee of Ray Lewis & Son for 28 years where she met several wonderful friends that remained in her life for many years.
She loved spending time with her family most of all which she demonstrated by taking and having more photos than any 10 other families combined! She loved reading, fishing, music, going to festivals and a taking a good nap.
Alice was predeceased by her husband, Ray, her parents, in-laws Ray “Dutch” & Ada Hol-loway, two brothers John & Ted Zink, a son-in-law Curt Holloway, a grandson Jordan Holloway, her friend of over 50 years, Sue Kirkpatrick, 3 brothers-in-law, James “Jimmy”, Donald & Ken-neth “Peanut” Holloway, and 3 beloved furbabies, White Fang, Daisy and Willie.
She is survived by a son & daughter-in law, Tim & Rosemary Holloway, two daughters Viki Holloway & Susan Blue, a grandson Addam (Aimee Costello) Blue, 2 granddaughters Alissa Blue & Kelsey Holloway, 2 great-grandsons Alexander “Alex” & Adonis Blue, a great-granddaughter Briar Rose Holloway, a sister and brother-in-law Mary and Joseph Rice, 3 be-loved sisters-in-law Dottie & Josephine Zink and Sue (Sam) Dunn, brother-in-law, Phil Hol-loway, a former son-in-law David Blue, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews & friends.
The family will welcome visitors at Ingram Funeral Home on Friday, December 3rd, 2021 beginning at 11:00 a.m. with the service taking place at 1:00 p.m with the Rev. James Taylor officiating. Interment will be at the York Center Cemetery immediately following the service.
Flowers are welcome or, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice of Marysville in care of the funeral home.
