Allen Couch, 50, of Springfield, died March 28, 2018, at Miami Valley Hospital, with his loving family by his side.
An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting, fishing and collecting arrowheads. He was a member of the Archeological Society and was a person who had a boundless appetite to learn.
He was born Nov. 1, 1967, in Urbana, to the late William Paul and Joy Herd Couch.
He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, the former Tabitha K. “Tabbie” Shively, whom he married Nov. 14, 1987, in Marysville; sons, Nick Couch of Milford Center and Cody Couch of Lakewood; grandson, Leon, who was the light of his life; and siblings, Raymond (Kathy) Couch of Marysville, Paula (Colin) McConahay of Florida and Douglas Couch; and a cherished niece and nephews.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday at Ingram Funeral Home.
