Barbara June Cahill, 93, of Plain City, died Thursday evening, Aug. 2, 2018, at Memorial Gables, Marysville.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Plain City. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was employed with Jeffery Manufacturing and retired from Remarks, was an advisor for the Pleasant Valley Homemakers 4-H Club for many years and founder of the Plain City Sugar Plum Twirlers. She was also a homemaker and an excellent seamstress. She enjoyed crocheting and making porcelain dolls and creating their dresses.
She was born June 6, 1925, in Columbus, to the late Howard and Sylvia (Huff) Reiselt. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene M. Cahill, whom she married May 7, 1949, in St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Columbus; brothers, Bernard (Edna) Reiselt and Kenneth (Charline) Reiselt; sisters, Margie (Carl) Harrington and Hilda (Carroll) Kandel; brother-in-law, William Cahill; sisters-in-law, Marilyn (Mathias) Bossman and Shirley (Joseph) Graessle; and son-in-law, Michael W. Moeller.
She is survived by her loving daughters, Barbara Jean Moeller and Linda (Doug) Scheiderer; grandchildren, Tiffany Scheiderer, Greg (Carrie) Scheiderer, Michael (Mimi) Moeller, Caroline (Michael) Williamson and Matthew (Jennifer) Moeller; great-grandchildren, William Moeller, Samuel Moeller, Abigail Moeller, Madison Moeller and Agnes Pearl Williamson; and several nieces and nephews.
The Rev. Matthew Morris will officiate a funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (Route 161 W.), Plain City. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Forest Grove Cemetery, Plain City.
