Beverly K. Foster, 75, of Marysville died Friday afternoon, Oct. 9, at Prestige Gardens following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She retired from Lab Corp in Dublin after 40 years of service, was a graduate of Fairbanks High School and attended Trinity Chapel in Milford Center.
A very social person, she enjoyed visiting with family and friends and had a tremendous memory able to remember everyone’s birthday in the family.
In her past time, she enjoyed OSU Football, collecting owl figurines and listening to music, especially Frankie Avalon. She and her sister Peggy were able to attend a Hugh Jackman concert at the Schottenstein Center, one of her favorite musicians.
She was born Aug. 13, 1945 in Urbana to the late Raymond W. and Doris Poland Halterman.
She is survived by her son John A. Foster of Marysville; granddaughters, Kaitlyn Nicole Foster and Haleigh Foster; siblings, Douglas R. (Paulette) Halterman of Centerville, Peggy A. Halterman of Marysville, Stephen C. (Toni) Halterman of Milford Center; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home. Masks will be required and social distancing will be practiced. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Woodstock Cemetery with Pastor Keith Castle officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Union County Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
