Bonnie Jean Larkin, age 80, of Marysville, died Saturday, February 17, 2024 at Memorial Hospital.
Following a career in banking, she retired as a physician’s office biller for cardiologist, Dr. Mayank K. Shah in Marion, Ohio.
She was a 1961 graduate of Marion Harding High School where she was a majorette. She lived in Marion all her life until she moved to Marysville to be close to her daughter.
A member of Cornerstone Global Methodist Church of Marysville, she participated in Golden Girls Bible Study and the Serendipity Sunday School Class.
Bonnie loved to scrapbook, swim, vacation on the beach and cook and bake. She especially cherished watching her grandbabies and being with her family.
She was born March 24, 1943 in Marion, Ohio to the late Charles E. and Lucille E. Adkinson Barton. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Thomas M. Larkin; her son, Timothy M. Larkin; her daughter, Tammy M. Larkin; and her sister, Sally L. O’Connell.
She is survived by her daughter, Linda M. (Brad) Forry of Marysville; her grandchildren, Lauren R. (Zac) Emery, Jordan D. (Riley C.) Forry, Bryce M. (Ryleigh E.) Forry and Ian T. (Katelyn L. Lester) Forry; a great-granddaughter, Ellie; a great-grandson, Mason; a brother, James (Jean) Barton of Florida; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 23, 2024 at Cornerstone Global Methodist Church of Marysville, 207 South Court Street. The family will receive friends one-hour prior to the service and at a luncheon in the church following the service. Pastors Nathan Custer and Peggy Hoy will officiate.
Graveside services will be held that afternoon at 2 p.m. at Chapel Heights Memory Gardens, 2622 Marion-Upper Sandusky Road, Marion.
