Devan Fraley, 15, of Milford Center died unexpectedly Thursday, May 14, 2020 at Dublin Methodist Hospital.
He was born Nov. 29, 2004 in Columbus.
He attended Plain City Elementary School and Thomas Ewing Junior High School in Lancaster where he played youth basketball. He was currently a freshman at Fairbanks High School.
He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, music and playing guitar. He was working with the school to help put a class together for students to learn guitar.
He loved animals and enjoyed playing video games and learning to drive. He aspired to be a racecar driver and underwater welder.
He is survived by his mother, Samantha Stough (Dalton Long); father, Charles “Chris” Fraley; brothers, Dustin and Kameryn Fraley (Arianna Long); grandparents, Michelle Arms, Tamara (James Welsh) Lansinger, Brett Lansinger, John and Margrett Wardell, Phyllis Wardell, Tammy Ferguson and Tom Ferguson; great grandmother, Betty (Snyder) Fraley; great grandfather, Larry Arms; aunts and uncles, Amanda, Josh, Alex, Dustin and Kaylee, Halley and Ashley; and many, many cousins including Keegan Baird.
A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 19, 2020 at Forest Grove Cemetery, 8270 Cemetery Pike, Plain City.
Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray recent expenses.
