Donald L. Dolder, 84, of Plain City, died unexpectedly Monday, July 16, 2018, at his home.
He was the owner of the family business, Dolder Brother’s Market, in Columbus. He worked at Cardinal Foods for 30 years and was a lifelong farmer.
He was born March 29, 1934, in Columbus, to the late Norman E. and Goldie Mae (Morris) Dolder. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wives, Phyllis E. Dolder and Mary Dolder.
He is survived by his daughters, Krista (Brian) Overturf and Debbie (Dennis) Haywood; granddaughters, Mckenna (Will Britton) Buhrts and Katie (Matthew) Lewis; grandsons, Colin Stein, Scott Stein and Jessie VanDyne; great-grandchildren, Dalton James Haywood, Ambika Shoemaker and Ashton VanDyne; brother, Norman Dolder; and many good friends.
Visitation will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main St. (Route 161 W.), Plain City. Funeral services will begin at 4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
