Dr. Abraham Rudolph Mishkin, 102, of Johns Island, SC, died at home Sunday, December 3, 2023. Born on October 8, 1921, in Morristown, NJ, he was the son of the late Max Mishkin and Fannie (nee Ponz) Mishkin, who immigrated to the US from Eastern Europe in 1906. Abe was predeceased by his beloved wife of 57 years, Naomi (2010). He is survived by two daughters, Renée Mishkin Chewning of Johns Island, SC and Sandra Mishkin of Phoenix, AZ; twin sons Martin Mishkin of Minneapolis, MN and Marvin Mishkin of Moultonborough, NH; seven grandchildren, Alexander, Jillian, Charles, Katelyn, Amanda, Sydney, Geoffrey; and nine great-grandchildren, Phillip, Alyssa, Alyson, Nicholas, Duncan, Thomas, Kennedy, William and Jazmine. He was also predeceased by two angel great-grandchildren, William and Jackson. The family is planning a memorial celebration in January 2024.
