Frances Marie Adduci Burkett, age 89, died Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Monarch Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Marysville.
A 1953 graduate of LaPorte, Indiana High School, she retired from The Ohio State University in publications with Eisenhower Clearinghouse. She also served as a clerk with the Upper Arlington Public Library. Her career spanned 50 years.
Deeply cultured, she travelled extensively as she appreciated opera and Placido Domingo. She was well-versed in literature and art.
She was born January 28, 1935 in Chicago, Illnois to the late Francis and Rose Liberatore Adduci. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her first husband, George “Bill” Burkett; her brother, Leonard Adduci; and her second husband, Kelly Moody.
She is survived by three sons, William (Rita) Burkett of Colorado Springs, Matthew (Dawn) Burkett of Omaha and Michael Burkett of Columbus; her grandchildren, Justin Burkett, Jesse Burkett, Anna Burkett, Erin (Michael) Schroeder and Mark Burkett; her great-grandchildren, Miles, Leona and Joslyn; a brother, Richard (Jacki Lewis) Adduci; a sister-in-law, Joanne Adduci; and nieces, nephews and other relatives.
