James R. Reisinger, 60, of Raymond died early Thursday morning, Aug. 8, 2019, at his home surrounded by his loving family.
A professional truck driver for many years, he was employed with Messer Trucking Co. He was a man of faith and a longtime member of the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union. An outdoors man, he enjoyed hunting deer and turkey as well as fishing in his spare time. He was also a devoted family man and his grandchildren meant the world to him.
He was born Nov. 6, 1958 in Marysville to the late James C. and Sarah E. Kimbler Reisinger.
He married the former Dixie L. Travis at their home in Raymond in 1995.
He is survived by his wife of 24 years; his daughter, Brandi Class of Russells Point; three grandchildren, Brianna, Hailey and Jacie; two great-grandchildren, Jayden and Marley; siblings Vicki Rogan of Urbana, Karen Miller of North Lewisburg, Larry Reisinger of New Dover, Timmie (Diane) Reisinger and Joseph (Crystal) Reisinger both of Marysville; special cousins Christy (Brad) Lovall, Robin (Ron) Dunkel and Starla Thomas; brother-in-law Danny (Lynn) VanDyne of Hamilton; and many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the funeral service at 11 a.m. Monday at the Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Young officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg.
In his memory, contributions may be made to the Raymond Church of Christ in Christian Union or the Union County Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
