Jean Ann Russell, 92, of Plain City died Saturday, Sept. 21, 2019 at Edgewater Place in Plain City.
She was a longtime member of the Plain City Presbyterian Church and a dedicated member of the Church Choir and Women’s Association.
She also served as the church secretary for Pastor Stenner.
She was the secretary for Tolles Technical Center for over 20 years and was one of the first members elected into the Tolles Hall of Fame.
She enjoyed family game nights, attending sporting events and band concerts for her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She was born Feb. 6, 1927 in Malvern.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Grace (Narragon) Mills; great-granddaughter, Rowan Burke; brothers, Wayne Mills, Robert Mills, Earl Mills and John Mills; sisters, Ethel Nestrick, Wilma Rutledge and Kathleen Donahoe.
She is survived by her loving husband of 69 years, Raymond Robert Russell; son, Rod (Dorothy) Russell; daughter, Nancy (Steve) Patterson; grandchildren, Brynn (Chad) Craney, Brooke Russell, Blair (Joe) Burke and Brandon (Liz) Bradley; great-grandchildren, Rylan Burke, Morgyn Craney, Ripley Burke and Elliott Bradley; along with many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Ferguson Funeral Home, 202 E. Main Street, Plain City, from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 25, 2019.
The funeral will be held at Plain City Presbyterian Church, 231 E. Main Street, Plain City, at 11 a.m. Thursday. Pastor Alice Phillips will officiate.
A family graveside service will be held at Bethlehem Cemetery, Route 183, Malvern at noon Friday.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Plain City Presbyterian Church Window Fund.
