Kelly Kidd, 62, of North Lewisburg died Dec. 16, 2019 in his home.
He was a devoted father, brother and friend to those that knew him. When in need, he was the first to come to another’s aid.
He was born April 27, 1957 in Jackson, Kentucky to the late Jesse and Cleta Mae McIntosh.
He loved his Lord and had a strong relationship with Christ. He was kind, caring and loved his family with all his heart.
He was a graduate of Breathitt County High School. He was an avid University of Kentucky basketball and Ohio State Buckeyes football fan.
He was employed at Goodyear in Marysville for 29 years and most recently worked at Grace Trucking in Hilliard where he worked with his best friend since high school, Robert Shouse, owner of Grace Trucking.
He loved music and enjoyed playing his bass guitar with his band. Michael Jackson was his favorite pop artist.
He is survived by his son, Ashton Kidd; his daughter, Abby (Jon) Roberts; his siblings, Edith (Glenn) Hollon, Jesselena (Roy) O’Connor, Elizabeth (John) Kilburn, Anderson Kidd, Marilyn Collins and Jennifer McIntosh; his grandchildren, Kaydee and J.J.; his friend and mother of his children, Terri Eley; as well as several nieces, nephews and great nieces and great nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Dec. 23, 2019 at Freshwater, McDonald and Vernon, North Lewisburg with Pastor Keith Castle officiating. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. prior to the service.
