Kenneth H. Fawley, 81, of Marion and formerly of Richwood, died Wednesday, Dec. 20, 2017, at Heartland of Marion.
A 1954 graduate of Byhalia High School, he served with the Union County Emergency Management Agency since 1964 and was a past assistant chief. He was also an original member of the Richwood Emergency Management Services and retired from Stofcheck Ambulance Service, where he worked as an emergency medical technician for 25 years. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing, as well as building and flying remote control airplanes.
He was born on May 18, 1936, in Columbus, to the late Harold and Charlotte (Lee) Fawley.
He is survived by his daughter, Victoria (John) Nagel of Marion; grandchildren, Kimberly (Randy) Antelo, Joshua (Amanda) Nagel and Callie Nagel; great-grandchildren, Mateo Antelo, Sean Nagel and Jacklyn Nagel; sisters, Bernice Hamilton of Marysville, Beatrice (Robert Sr.) Hamilton of Marysville and Alma Grace Quest of Akron; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. Saturday until the time of the service at 1 p.m. at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. His son-in-law, the Rev. John Nagel, will officiate and burial will follow at York Cemetery.
