Linda M. Hunter, 69, of Marysville died Saturday morning, Sept. 5 at the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center following an extended illness.
She was retired as a nurse’s aid at Heartland and as a cashier for Walmart. A loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother, her true joy was in spending time with her children and grandchildren and camping with her friends.
She was born March 18, 1951 in Columbus to the late Floyd and Florence L. McMannis Hensley. She was also preceded in death by a brother, John Hensley and sisters Luann Bright and Annette Knecht.
She is survived by her husband, Steven L. Hunter; sons, John E. Hay and Jessie S. Hunter, both of Marysville and Jeffrey A. Hunter of Columbus; daughters, Ardana L. Murphy of Marysville and Mary E. Fenstemaker of Hilliard; numerous beloved grandchildren, nieces and nephews; and best friends, Russ and Carol Wampler Perry, as well as Don and Julia Williams.
A memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at a later date. Ingram Funeral Home is assisting the family.
