Louzetta “Susie” Reisinger, 70, of Milford Center died Saturday afternoon, May 9, at her home surrounded by her loving family following many months of failing health.
She was retired from the Ohio Department of Commerce following 26 years of service. A person of great faith, she and her husband were longtime members of Trinity Chapel in Milford Center.
Devoted to family, she cherished the time spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of the VFW Auxiliary and the Fraternal of Eagles Auxiliary.
When her health permitted, she enjoyed fishing with her husband and spending a couple of weeks every winter in Texas with family.
She was born Aug. 15, 1949 in Bellefontaine to the late John and Myrtle Spain Isaacs Sr. She was also preceded in death by her siblings, Ricky Isaacs, Marla Graves, John Isaacs Jr. and Juanita Cooper.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil R. “Bud” Reisinger II whom she married Oct. 3, 1969 in Covington, Kentucky; their children, Virgil R. “Ray” (Cherri) Reisinger III of Milford Center, Donald L. Reisinger of Milford Center and Carrie S. (Robert) Durst of North Lewisburg; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren; sisters, Verna Morgan and Linda Bollack, both of Marysville, Vicky Stanley of Marion and Marilyn Isaacs of Delaware; brothers, Lester Isaacs of Marysville, Terry (Jane) Isaacs of Woodstock, James (Diane) Isaacs of Marysville and Anthony Isaacs of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Maple Grove Cemetery in North Lewisburg with the Rev. Keith Castle officiating. The service is open to family and friends, who are asked to practice social distancing.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Union County Cancer Society or the Loving Care Hospice in care of Ingram Funeral Home, who is completing arrangements.
