Mark T. Mullaney, age 83, of Raymond, died peacefully on Monday, February 19, 2024, at home on the farm surrounded by his loving family.
On October 18, 1940, Mark was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, the youngest of three sons of the late James Jackson “Jack” Mullaney Sr and Mildred (Lake) Mullaney. His father purchased the family farm in Raymond, Ohio, where Mark would spend the rest of his life. He graduated from Northwestern High School in the class of 1958.
Mark married his high school sweetheart, Glenda Glassburn on October 30, 1960. They shared 63 years of marriage and raised three sons: Jack, Michael and Steven.
Mark enlisted to serve his country in the US Navy. He served aboard the USS Kleinsmith, stationed at Norfolk, Virginia.
Upon his honorable discharge, Mark returned home to help manage the family farm. He also worked for 28 years as a maintenance mechanic at the Goodyear Tire and Rubber Plant in Marysville, until his retirement in 2002.
Mark was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Marysville and the Newton Masonic Lodge in Raymond, where he was a Past Masonic Master.
Mark loved to farm and spend time with his family. Among his other hobbies, Mark enjoyed hunting, fishing, flying, taxidermy, coaching baseball and doing crossword puzzles. He was a great man, who loved a new challenge.

He will be missed by his wife, Glenda Mullaney; three sons: Jack (Kristin) Mullaney, Mike (Kristi) Mullaney, all of Raymond, and Steve (Jennifer) Mullaney of Upper Arlington; 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey, Thomas, Adam, Brian (Megan), Rachael (Allison), Mariah and Alissa Mullaney; three great-grandchildren: Jace, Mason and Miles Mullaney; two sisters-in-law: Lila Thergartner and Sharon (Dave) Sherburne; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Including his parents, Mark was preceded in death by his two brothers and a sister-in-law: Jack (Margie) Mullaney Jr., and Thomas Mullaney; a sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Charlotte and Ray Draudt; parents-in-law: Elmer and Stella Glassburn.
Services honoring his life will be observed at the graveside at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 23, 2024, at Oakdale Cemetery in Marysville, with Pastor Kurt Luebkeman officiating.
