Mary Ann Peterman, 89, of Marysville, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, May 22, 2019, at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehab with her loving family by her side.
She was a former school bus driver in the Watkins area for Fairbanks schools. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member of the Shiloh Chapel Evangelical Friends Church in Marysville. In her free time, she enjoyed working on puzzles, as well as crafting and sewing.
The last of her siblings, she was born March 29, 1930, in Columbus to the late John and Edith Ballenger Giehl. She married Ralph J. Peterman on July 4, 1948, in Columbus and he preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 1997. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Timothy Lee Peterman, and her good friend, Dallas Black.
She is survived by her children, Beverly (Jim) Picklesimon, Judith Crum, Gary (Teri) Peterman all of Marysville, and Dennis (Connie) Peterman of West Palm Beach, Florida, grandchildren, Jennifer, April, Jeanette (Marc), Matt and Lukas, and seven great-grandchildren.
Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the Ingram Funeral Home where funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday. Pastor Jim Davis will officiate and burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery next to her husband.
In her memory, contributions may be made to the Shiloh Chapel Evangelical Friends Church, or the donor’s charity of choice in care of the funeral home.
