Mazella Risner, 98, of Marysville, died peacefully late Friday evening, July 19, 2019, at Prestige Gardens surrounded by her loving family.
A family oriented woman, she was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She will be remembered as a person who loved to cook, keep a garden and can the fruits of her labor.
She was born Feb. 15, 1921, in Salyersville, Kentucky, to the late Reb and Elsie Patrick Green. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Ervin Risner, a daughter, Wanda Kleinman, two daughters-in-law, Kay Risner and Linda Risner, and a grandson, Michael Holcomb.
She is survived by her children LeRoy Risner, Paul (Sharon) Risner and Phyllis (Don) Hoffman, all of Marysville and Ray M. Risner of Raymond; son-in-law John Kleinman; 13 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; a sister, Lucille McKinley of Eustus, Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. James Taylor officiating. Burial will follow at Oakdale Cemetery next to her husband. Friends may call from noon until the time of the service.
In memory of the deceased, contributions may be made to Loving Care Hospice or the American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
