Michael B. Rognon, 60, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, April 17, 2019, at Prestige Gardens.
A 1977 graduate of Marysville High School, he was employed at Honda of America and at the Marysville Journal-Tribune as a press operator, in later years.
He loved riding his Harley and he founded The Longriders MC in Marysville in 1980. He was an active member for 20 years, 14 of which he was president.
He really enjoyed playing his guitar and being in the band Rebel Heart. He made many friends all over through his on-line gaming.
Above all, he enjoyed his family and loved being a father and grandfather.
He was born Feb. 17, 1959, in Zanesville to Charles M. and Jean Y. Calihan Rognon. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Charles Darin Rognon and Terry L. Rognon, maternal grandparents John and Dorothy Calihan, uncle Palmer Calihan, aunt and uncle Alice and Bob Rognon, aunt Shirley Calihan, and a nephew Derek Rognon.
He is survived by his wife Pamela A. Mitchell Rognon, children Shannon (Scott) Rognon Nangle, Shane (Carolyn Michael) Rognon, Cameron Rognon, Danielle Rognon, step-sons Brandon (Danyelle) Salmons, Christopher (Brook) Salmons, Kyle Holbrook and family, step father Charles Wolford, all of Marysville; grandchildren, Ava, Brody, Mason, Elliott and Paisley; step grandchildren Adam and Kairi; a sister Tami (Terry) Farmer; aunt Roberta Calihan; sisters-in-law and brothers -in-law Kim Mitchell, Chet Mitchell both from Delaware, Becky (Vann) Seawell of Galena, Terri (Joe) Albright of Cardington, Liz (Jeff) Roush of Marengo; mother-in-law Sharon Mitchell of Delaware; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
