Nancy Chandler, 78, of Marysville, formerly of Hilliard, died Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017.
She was the rock of her family and a good woman whom people asked for prayers. She was a faithful member of First United Methodist Church in Marysville. She was a great cook and enjoyed golfing. She was also a seamstress. Most of all, she enjoyed going to her grandchildren’s sporting events, as well as take them fishing. She graduated from Central High School in 1956.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Medrith (Sampson) Williams; brother, Jim Williams; brother-in-law, Donald Chandler; and sister-in-law, Barb Chandler.
She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ron; son, Ron (Cheryl) Chandler; daughters, Barbie (Ron) Corbitt and Teri (Doug) Bushong; grandchildren, Janel, Nathaniel and Lee Chandler, Samantha and Ethan Fitzsimmons, Carson Corbitt and Sydnie and Kenzie Bushong; sister, Barbara Murray; brother, Joe Williams; brother-in-law, Richard (Peg) Chandler; sister-in-law, Linda Williams; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Her family will receive friends Monday, from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. at Tidd Family Funeral Home, 5265 Norwich St., Hilliard. The Rev. Dr. Aaron Brown will officiate funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday at First United Methodist Church, 207 South Court St., Marysville. Interment will be held at Concord Cemetery, Grove City.
