Ned McClish, 74, of Raymond, died early Tuesday morning, Jan. 9, 2018, at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was retired from GTE, now Verizon, after nearly 30 years of service. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing golf and working in the yard. A dedicated family man, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and watching them play sports.
He was born Feb. 2, 1943, in Groveport, to the late Paul and Margaret Jane Taylor McClish. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Gary McClish.
He is survived by his wife of nearly 51 years, the former Sue Null, whom he married on Jan. 21, 1967, at Groveport United Methodist Church; sons, Chad (Beth) McClish of Marysville and Jeff (Angi) McClish of Galloway; grandchildren, Matthew, Zachary, Megan, Jeffrey and Nicholas; sister, Susie Taylor; sisters-in-law, Connie Cunningham and Sandy McClish; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday at Ingram Funeral Home. The Rev. Ed Linville will officiate funeral services at 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
