Norman Spain, Jr., 66, of Marysville, died peacefully early Wednesday, April 24, 2019, at Monarch Skilled Nursing and Rehab.
A graduate of Marysville High School, he formerly worked as a machinist with Dennison. He enjoyed playing dartball, riding motorcycles and watching football and basketball, especially the Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Browns.
Born Aug. 26, 1952, in Marysville, he was the son of the late Norman Spain, Sr. and Ida “Delores” (Hicks) Jones.
He is survived by his daughters, Kellie Mercer of Marysville and Angela (Kenny) Crumb of Richwood; grandchildren, Avery (Allison) Cox, Ryan (Molly) Cox, Isaiah (Courtney) Cox, Samantha Cox, Anna Heil, Patience Cook, Tateum Francis and Rylan Francis; great-grandchildren, McKenzie Cox, Ayva Cox and Jett Cox; a brother, Terry Spain of Grove City and numerous cousins and friends.
Friends may call from noon-2 p.m. Friday at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel. Pastor Jim Gardner will officiate a graveside service at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Unionville Center Cemetery.
