Paula Arlene Warnock Foley, age 68, of Ontario, Ohio formerly of Marysville, died unexpectedly Monday, November 27, 2023 at The Cleveland Clinic.
A homemaker and loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, Paula graduated from Marysville High School in 1974. Two months after graduation, she married the love of her life, Rick Foley, on June 29, 1974.
Paula was a former dialysis technician at The Ohio State University and volunteered for several years with the North Union Athletic Boosters. She and Rick enjoyed dirt track racing at Portsmouth Raceway Park and Attica Speedway where they made many friends along the way whom she communicated with the rest of her life.
Paula and Rick also worked at the Eldora Motor Speedway where she had the time of her life, making even more friends and fans for the 13 years she helped and worked there. Paula mostly enjoyed her time raising her family and loving her grand and great-grand “babies,” however some of them are no longer babies.
Paula had a few encounters with health complications in the past 17 years, but she recovered very well. However, on November 27, 2023, she suffered a fatal heart attack and passed on at 11:23 p.m. Paula was at the Cleveland Clinic when she was welcomed to her new world.
She was born, July 23, 1955 in Portsmouth to the late Max G. and Freda Patrick Warnock.
Paula is survived by her husband of 49 plus years, Rick Foley of Ontario; her children, Ryan Foley of Ontario, Richie (Paulina Foor) Foley of Richwood, Arlene (Josh) Kimbler of Marion and Katie Foley of Ontario; her grandchildren, Makayla Foley, Bridget Cook, Ivory Foley, Daren Foley, Carlie Cook, Lexie Foley, Samantha Fritz, Raven Fritz, Riley Foley and Kaylynn Kimbler; her great-grandchildren, Ava Foley, Elena Dillow, Liam Foley, Rosie Foley, Haven Foley and Stephen Cook;
her brother, Dexter Warnock of Lexington; and her sister, Pamela (Kenny) Tillman of Marysville; and other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, December 5, 2023 at Underwood Funeral Home where the family will receive friends beginning at 3 p.m.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2023 at Raymond Cemetery.
Being the Christmas person she was, Paula will be dressed for Christmas. Anybody wishing to attend the viewing or funeral, please feel free to do the same. Paula would be so happy.
