Pearle E. Collinson, 97, of Marysville died Wednesday afternoon, May 29, 2019, at Kobacker House in Columbus following a brief illness.
She was artistic, creative and very talented. She was an accomplished seamstress who enjoyed making her daughter’s and grandchildren’s clothes through the years. She enjoyed cross stitch and putting puzzles together.
In her later years, she attended the Raymond United Methodist Church and enjoyed the fellowship found in the church family.
She was born July 11, 1921, in North Lewisburg, to the late Lawrence and Ethel Bloomquist Burroughs.
She married Carroll L. Collinson June 24, 1939, in Greenup, Kentucky, and he preceded her in death on May 22, 2002. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, JoAnn Collinson in August of 1980, a great-granddaughter Ashley McDaniel, and a great-great-grandson Jayden Burns.
She is survived by her children, Ginny (Dick) Sparks of Marysville, and Carroll L. “Larry” (Jody) Collinson Jr. of Senatobia, Mississippi; grandchildren, Vicky (John) Burns, Judy Caldwell (Bob Mackey), Homer Ray Caldwell Jr., Michelle Coopwood, Kyle Collinson (Abby) and Jackie Sabins, great-grandchildren, Scott, Ryan, Jason, Courtney, Allen, Alexa and Collin; great-great-grandchildren, Trent, Kylie, Grace, Kaleb, Emery, Allister, Eliora, and Anneliese.
Calling hours will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until service time at 1 p.m. at the Ingram Funeral Home with the Rev. Sara McSwords officiating. Burial will follow at Raymond Cemetery.
