Rebecca “Becky” A. McComas, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2024 at The Ohio State University Medical Center. She is now finally reunited with the love of her life, Denny.
Becky was a special kind of person as she was deeply loved by all she came into contact with. She was a kind of person you couldn’t help but love and open up to. She was a devout Christian who loved spending time with her church family as well as meeting her family at Bob Evans for lunch. Becky was a waitress Marysville Waffle House for many years taking care of her friends and family who stopped to see her. She was the favorite aunt to many nieces and nephews – always there for them when they needed a “parent.” Becky was a rock for many- never judging anybody for anything. She always had a listening ear, a gentle heart and open arms for anybody who needed it. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
She was born June 21, 1958 in Columbus to the late Robert and Mary Lou Rausch Hyatt. She was also predeceased by her husband of 14 years, Dennis McComas. She is survived by her twin brother, Robert (Kim) Hyatt of Delaware; her sister, Amy (Tim) Trent of Bucyrus; her nephews, Robert (Emily) Hyatt and children, Max, Henry and Fallon, Ryan (Amy) Hyatt and children, Jack and Fox, Sarah Hyatt and children, Noel and Noah, Josh Hyatt, Brad (Ashley) Benedict and children, Audrey and Allyson, Greg Benedict, Kevin (Amy) Criswell and children Elizabeth and Anna, Kyle (Bri) Criswell and children, Kandace and Kambry; and her niece, Mary Criswell and children, Dylan and Owen.
The family will hold private services at a later date. Underwood Funeral Home is assisting the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.underwoodfuneralhome.com.
