Robert L. Minshall, aged 95, of Marysville, Ohio, passed away on April 14, 2024. He was born on February 23, 1929, in Plain City, Ohio.
Robert was a Staff Sergeant in the Korean War with an honorable discharge. He was an extremely compassionate individual, always willing to help others. A true dog lover, especially fond of golden retrievers, Robert enjoyed playing golf in his spare time. He was a devoted fan of Ohio State athletics, particularly OSU football. Robert had a successful career in sales with GE and co-owned the popular Minelli’s pizza restaurant in Columbus with a longtime friend.
He is survived by his sons Gregg (Kate) Minshall of Marysville, Brad Minshall of Columbus, longtime friend Betty Sparks of Marysville, Ohio, grandchildren Kimberly Minshall of San Diego, and Christopher Minshall of Phoenix, as well as his brother James Minshall (Gaile) of Marysville. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Madge Minshall of Plain City and sister Doris Baldwin of Plain City.
Robert’s hobbies included golf and woodworking projects. A graveside ceremony will be held on Saturday, April 27th, at 11:00 am at Forest Grove Cemetery in Plain City, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions can be made in Robert’s memory to Viaquest Hospice 525 Metro Place North Dublin, Ohio 43017.
