Robert R. “Bob” Wood, 67, of Marysville, died Thursday afternoon, July 19, 2018, at his home with his wife and daughter at his side, following an extended illness.
He retired after 28 years of service at Honda of America. A social person, he held memberships in the Marysville Moose Lodge #1651 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles #3506. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing, golfing and boating with his wife.
He was born Jan. 20, 1951, in Denver, Colorado, to Lidia “Lilly” Ristori and the late Harry L. Wood. In addition to his father, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Victoria Glassburn.
In addition to his mother, he is also survived by his wife of 48 years, the former Marsha J. “Marty” Stults, whom he married June 20, 1970, at Marysville First United Methodist Church; children, Jamie J. (Ashley) Wood of Powell and Kim E. (Seth) Allen of Zanesfield; grandchildren, Celeste and Bre Allen and Paige and Paiden Wood; brother, Mike (Paula) Wood of Marysville; brother-in-law, Reg Glassburn of Marysville; father and mother-in-law, Don and Louise Stults; sisters-in-law, Linda (Jack) Maynard and Lori (Kevin) Poling, both of Marysville; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Private family services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Loving Care Hospice in care of Ingram Funeral Home, which is completing arrangements.
