Thomas D. Moore, 78, of Milford Center, died Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, at his home.
He retired after a long association at Ranco in Delaware, where he served on the maintenance staff. He attended Vineyard Church of Marysville and Woodstock Free Will Baptist Church.
He was born on March 30, 1939, in Champaign County, to the late Andrew and Isabell Clark Moore. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Joan Wood Moore; son, Doug Moore; sister, Phyllis Moore Richendollar; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bill Hix, Vernon Wood, June Hodge, Mary Jean Roberts and Willard Wood; nephew, Terry Richendollar; and niece, Carol Richendollar Watts.
He is survived by his son, David Moore; sister, Beverly Eickemeyer of Crossville, Tennessee; brother, Gerald Moore of Cable; sister-in-law, Minnie Roberts of Milford Center; brother-in-law, Wayne (Nina) Wood of Marysville; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday at Underwood Funeral Home, where the Rev. Steve Wood will officiate funeral services at 11 a.m. Friday. Burial will be beside his wife at Union Township Cemetery in Milford Center following the funeral service.
