Victor P. “Vic” “Tory” Bruno, Jr., 70, of Marysville, died unexpectedly Sunday, July 30, 2017, at OhioHealth Medcentral Hospital in Mansfield.
A graduate of Valley Forge Military Academy in Pennsylvania, he proudly served his country in the United States Navy. For the past 29 years, he has owned and operated the Tuffy Auto Service Center in Marion and was previously a vice-president for AAMCO.
In his spare time, he enjoyed shooting at the Black Wing Shooting Center in Delaware.
Born May 1, 1947, in Hazelton, Pennsylvania, he was the son of the late Victor P. and Margaret (Daily) Bruno. On June 27, 1998, he married Janie (Shelby) at the Muirfield Golf Club in Dublin.
He is survived by his wife; children, Eric (Corrie) Bruno of Rockford, Illinois, Jennifer (Craig) Spiller of Amanda, Stephanie (Todd) Lynd of Buford, South Carolina, Christopher (Jodi) Wiltfong of Oro Valley, Arizona, and Jason Rushmeyer of Mesa, Arizona; grandchildren, Brittany, Nikolas, Blake, Emma, Ashlyn, Paige, Madison, Carson and Natalie; a brother, Dr. John (Marti) Bruno of Aliso Viejo, California, and a sister, Margaret Bruno of Deerfield Beach, Florida.
A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, at Wilson Funeral Home, Mannasmith Chapel.
