According to Plain City Police Department reports:
An officer responded to Fanshell Drive and Alderwood Circle for a parking complaint March 18 at 7:22 p.m. The officer contacted the driver, who moved the vehicle.
An officer was requested at U.S. 42 for an injury crash March 18 at 9:34 p.m.
Officers were sent to West Main Street for a well-being check March 18 at 10:31 p.m. Officers contacted the caller who said he hadn’t seen the subject for several hours. The officer dealt with the subject a dew hours earlier on a severe injury crash, and advised the caller that the subject had been taken to a hospital.
An officer was sent to Noteman Road for a 911 follow-up March 19 at 2:13 p.m. The officer met the caller, who said he wasn’t sure how his smartphone dialed 911.
An officer saw a tan Toyota Camry parked in a no parking zone on Maple Street March 19 at 8:25 p.m. The officer contacted the owner, who apologized and moved the vehicle.
Officers were sent to U.S. 42 to assist the Madison County Sheriff’s Office for a fire alarm March 20 at 12:14 a.m.
An officer was sent to East South Street to investigate a 911 hang up March 20 at 1:06 p.m. After arriving, the officer contacted the subject and her son. The officer spoke with the pair about not abusing 911.
An officer was sent to the area of Bicentennial Park at Gay Street and South Chillicothe Street to investigate a suspicious March 20 at 1:33 p.m. The officer spoke with a suspect who confirmed that he had been sitting at the Park and everything was okay.
Officers were asked to assist the Union County Sheriff’s Office at Currier Road March 20 at 2:05 p.m. for a suicidal male.
An officer saw a black Honda Civic traveling eastbound on West Main Street at South Chillicothe Street March 20 at 8:23 p.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop with the vehicle near Jackson Street and made contact with the driver, Hayden Morrison, and John Phillips, a passenger. Morrison was issued a citation for no stoplights and a summons for drug paraphernalia. Phillips was issued a summons for possession of drugs.
An officer saw a white Ford pickup traveling south on South Jefferson Avenue Monday at 9:23 p.m. The officer initiated a traffic stop and issued a turn signal violation to the driver, Kenneth Mounts.
An officer was on patrol and saw a road hazard on U.S. 42 near Richard Road March 20 at 10:25 p.m. It was removed.
Officers were sent to the intersection of Plain City-Georgesville Road and Cemetery Pike to investigate an injury accident March 21 at 2:40 p.m.
An officer was sent to Gay Street to investigate a suspicious vehicle March 21 at 3:41 p.m.
An officer was requested to conduct a civil standby while he dropped off property March 21 at 8:13 p.m. The subjects had a minor verbal altercation. Both parties calmed down and exchanged property without further incident.
An officer was sent to North Avenue to investigate a domestic dispute March 21 at 8:23 p.m.
An officer conducted a routine registration check on a black Dodge Caliber going north on South Jefferson Avenue March 22 at 5:03 p.m. The driver, Malachi Jones, was issued a summons for marijuana paraphernalia and a traffic citation for driving under suspension.
An officer conducted a routine registration check on a black Chrysler Pacifica on Gay Street March 22 at 7:35 p.m. The officer advised the vehicle owner that a vehicle that is disabled can’t be parked on the street. The officer also told the subject that it was a zoning violation to have a disabled vehicle on his property.
An officer responded to the listed location in reference to a suspicious vehicle on Village Boulevard March 22 at 9:18 p.m.
An officer responded to the listed location in reference to a possible intoxicated male on West Main Street in the Plain City Public Library March 23 at 10:25 a.m. The officer contacted the subject, though saw no sign of impairment.
Officers responded to Gay Street to investigate suicide threats March 23 at 5:40 p.m. Michael Millington II was charged with aggravated menacing and possession of weapons while intoxicated.
An officer was sent to Sough Jefferson Avenue to investigate a drug complaint March 23 at 8:04 p.m. The officer saw the vehicle in question still in the drive thru near the south entrance. Gar Welsh was placed into custody for OVI. He was taken to the police department where a breath test revealed he had a .226 percent blood alcohol content.
An officer was patrolling Pastime Park and noticed several household items protruding from the dumpster by the youth building March 24 at 4:30 p.m. An investigation is pending.
