According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Frank Bartley Borghese, 34, of W. Fifth Street was arrested for theft in the 200 block of W. Fifth Street at 3:10 p.m. Tuesday. Borghese was also arrested in Columbus for theft of a motor vehicle and identity theft – taking the identity of another at 3:51 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate the charges are associated with a Jan. 6 incident in which a blue Chevy Cruze was reported stolen in the 200 block of W. Fifth Street.
Police responded to a report of cruelty to animals in the 600 block of Gallop Lane at 5:49 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions in the 100 block of Redwood Drive at 7:32 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a local resident expressed concern for a family member.

As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near Scottslawn Road, a deputy recovered a handgun from the vehicle at 12:33 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Pleasant Valley Fire District responded to the intersection of Route 161 and Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2012 Freightliner semi that drove off the road, struck a utility pole and overturned at 1:09 p.m. Sunday. The driver, James E. Fugate, 53, of Dayton was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy arrested Jamie L. Green, 42, of Richwood at a residence on North Franklin Street for an outstanding warrant from Marion County at 5:32 p.m. Sunday. She was turned over to a Marion County deputy.
Deputies were sent to a property in the 17000 block of Paver Barnes Road to check a suspicious vehicle parked in the driveway at 6:22 p.m. Sunday. When deputies arrived, on suspect ran from the vehicle and a foot chase ensued. The suspect escaped and it was determined the vehicle, a 2015 Toyota Sienna, had been reported stolen from the City of Columbus. The vehicle was impounded and a report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Water Street in Essex for an unruly juvenile at 8:52 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 1000 block of New California Drive for a person threatening self-harm at 9:52 p.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 18000 block of Raymond Road to investigate a runaway juvenile at 11:16 p.m. Sunday. The juvenile was located in Marysville.
A deputy responded to the 15000 block of State Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Hyundai Elantra that drove off the road at 8:57 a.m. Monday.
A deputy went to the Fairfield County Jail to take custody of Michael A. Cleland, 37, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:28 p.m. Monday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with an Ohio State Highway Patrol Trooper to take custody of Victor R. Quillen, 54, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:20 p.m. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a resident from the 16000 block of County Home Road to investigate an attempted fraud involving a computer scam at 3:13 p.m. Monday.
A deputy responded to Middleburg Plain City Road west of Unionville Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze that struck a 2006 Dodge Ram at 4:17 p.m. Monday. The driver of the Chevrolet, James W. Purdum, 58, of Milford Center was issued a traffic citation for failure to drive in marked lanes.
A deputy responded to Route 31 near Patrick Brush Run Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Ford Transit van that struck a deer at 5:33 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 161 and the U.S. 33 on-ramp to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 GMC Acadia that was struck from behind by a 2005 Honda Accord at 8:40 a.m. Tuesday. The driver of the Honda, Srividya Nannapaneni, 40, of Dublin was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was sent to a business in the 13000 block of U.S. 42 to investigate the theft of two hedge trimmers at 10:51 a.m. Tuesday.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Johnna A. Carter, 22, of Marysville for violating the terms of her parole at 12:49 a.m. Tuesday. She was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 10000 block of Emelia Place for a person threatening self-harm at 1:01 p.m. Tuesday. The person was transported to Maryhaven.
A deputy met with a resident from the 15000 block of Boundary Road to investigate threatening text messages at 2:19 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy went to the Multi-County Jail in Marion to take custody of Bryan M. Baker, 39, of Bryceville, Florida for an outstanding arrest warrant at 4:11 p.m. Tuesday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Middleburg Plain City Road to investigate threatening text messages at 5:52 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy responded to Beecher Gamble Road near Watkins Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2002 GMC Yukon that struck a deer at 7:05 p.m. Tuesday.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 19000 block of Bonnie Court to investigate threatening text messages at 10:01 p.m. Tuesday.
