Joshua Lee Gingerich, 31, of W. Ninth Street was cited for criminal simulation in the 100 block of W. Ninth Street at 6:20 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the citation was associated with a Nov. 21, 2020 incident in which a counterfeit $100 bill was used at Tubby’s Pizza.
Police responded to a report of a suicide threat in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 2:16 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions involving a 13-year-old juvenile in the 600 block of Rainbow Drive at 9:54 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of identity theft in the 200 block of Restoration Drive at 10:41 a.m. Friday. The reporting person indicated he received a call from a “convincing scammer” and gave his information.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 1500 block of Bahia Drive at 2:03 p.m. Friday. The reporting person advised items were missing from a new-build home.
Police responded to a report of an assault in the 1000 block of Charles Lane at 4:49 p.m. Friday. An employee of McDonald’s stated that she was struck by another employee.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Amanda K. Williams, 34, of Aldersgate Street and Gena Ann Burton, 56, of Tulip Drive that occurred on Damascus Road at 8:43 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate Williams pulled into a private drive. Due to a line of cars, she backed up as Burton was entering the same private drive. Burton stated that she “felt the cars hit,” but Williams said she did not agree. An officer at the scene indicated that there was no damage, marks or scuffs on Williams’ vehicle, aside from “minor brush marks” on the hitch. Neither driver experienced any apparent injury. No citations were listed on the incident report.
Police responded to a suicide attempt in the 400 block of Poppy Lane at 2:16 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to a report of prohibited discharge of firearms in the 600 block of Meadows Drive at 12:26 a.m. Saturday. The reporting person indicated shots were fired into an apartment building.
Police responded to a report of sexual imposition involving a juvenile at an unlisted address at 11:43 a.m. Saturday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving James Samuel Harrington, 25, of Middleburg that occurred on W. Fourth Street at 1:08 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate an unoccupied vehicle was parked on the side of the roadway. Harrington stated his vehicle broke a tie rod as he was approaching the parked vehicle and he veered toward and struck the car. Harrington did not experience any apparent injuries. He was cited for failure to control.
Zahra Kamal Abdalla, 31, of Meadows Drive was cited for drug abuse in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 8:01 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the subject was using drugs in the Walmart parking lot. A “pill bottle containing white pills” was seized by police.
Joshua Allen Artis, 39, of Bellefontaine was cited for domestic violence in the 200 block of Professional Parkway at 12:55 a.m. Sunday. The citation stemmed from a Feb. 13 incident.
Jordan Blade Boldman, 22, of North Lewisburg was arrested on a probation violation in the 400 block of E. Ninth Street at 7:25 p.m. Sunday.
Damian Shay Boldman, 24, of Greenwood Blvd. was cited for driving under suspension in the 400 block of E. Ninth Street at 5:18 p.m. Sunday.
Jorge Espinoza Guiterrez, 34, of Milcrest Drive was cited for no operator’s license in the 700 block of Milcrest Drive at 9:43 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 300 block of Allenby Drive at 1:44 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate violence occurred between a boyfriend and girlfriend.
Police responded to a report of a dog bite in the 200 block of W. Ninth Street at 11:36 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person advised he was bit by his neighbor’s dog.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 600 block of Rainbow Drive at 12:01 a.m. Sunday. The reporting person stated she found a hammer in her front yard.
