According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to an incident of telephone harassment in the 500 block of London Avenue at 9:24 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the subject was warned on several occasions not to have contact with the hospital. He continued his behavior and was arrested for telephone harassment.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were dispatched to Route 739 near Flickinger Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Kia Sorento that was struck from behind by a 2004 Hyundai Santa Fe at 1:51 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Hyundai, Mark M. Patrick, 45, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy was dispatched to the 24000 block of Darby Pottersburg Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Ford F-350 that slid on ice while attempting to negotiate a curve and struck a fence at 2:48 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Ohio State Highway Patrol were dispatched to Watkins Road near Bell Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2013 Volkswagen Jetta that slid off the roadway and struck a road sign at 7:33 a.m. Thursday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire Department were dispatched to Route 4 near Tawa Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Toyota Camry that lost control, spun out and struck a guard rail at 7:48 a.m. Thursday. The driver, Julien A. Ladd, 19, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
A deputy went to Jackson County to take custody of Michelle L. Spence, 54, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:28 a.m. Thursday. The female was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to Route 31 near Richwood Miller Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2018 International semi-truck that began sliding on drifting snow, causing the trailer to jackknife and block both lanes of Route 31 at 12:28 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 28000 block of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2006 Nissan Titan that slid off the roadway and struck a fence at 3:14 p.m. Thursday. Parties exchanged information and no report was taken.
A deputy was dispatched to the U.S. 33 off-ramp to U.S. 42 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2016 Jeep Cherokee that was struck from behind by a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe at 4:46 p.m. Thursday. The driver of the Hyundai, Robert A. Johnson, 24, of Hilliard was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were dispatched to Route 4 near Route 347 to investigate a hit-skip property damage crash involving a 2003 Honda Element that was struck by a 2003 Toyota Corolla that fled the scene southbound on Route 4 at 7:14 p.m. Thursday. As a result of the crash, Angela R. Hamilton, 56, of Marysville was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, failure to yield and leaving the scene of an accident.
The female was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
