According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Hayley Nicole Grimes, 30, of Trophy Drive was cited for dogs and other animals running at large in the 2000 block of Trophy Drive at 9:08 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a dog was able to escape its yard and attacked another dog.
Police responded to a report of drug paraphernalia and drug abuse in the 100 block of W. Ninth Street at 2:14 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate MPD was called to the scene in reference to an overdose.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence in the 800 block of Delaware Avenue at 12:44 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a juvenile female was arrested and charged for domestic violence.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 100 block of E. Sixth Street at 2:32 p.m. Thursday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Derrick T. Newcomb, 26, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:39 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to Route 161 near the U.S. 33 eastbound entrance ramp to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2014 Jeep Cherokee that was struck from behind by a 2015 Subaru while stopped in traffic at 7:18 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Subaru, Renee C. Shtayyeh, 41, of Hilliard was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
A deputy went to Noble Correctional to take custody of Erle M. Hale, 20, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:28 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to the intersection of U.S. 42 and Jerome Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2008 Honda Odyssey that failed to yield at the stop sign on Jerome Road and was struck by a 2008 GMC Sierra at 8:43 a.m. Thursday. The driver of the Odyssey, Lei Chen, 53, of Columbus was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield.
A deputy want to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Joseph D. Secora, 39, of Galloway for a probation violation at 10:51 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated a domestic dispute between a husband and wife that occurred at a residence in the 1000 block of Indigo Drive at 12:07 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 9000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a complaint of phone harassment at 3:13 p.m. Thursday.
Deputies were dispatched to a vacant residence in the 13000 block of Route 347 to investigate a break-in at 3:17 p.m. Thursday. A Skil Ceramic table saw was taken.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence on West Street in Milford Center to investigate the theft of a yard rake at 4:52 p.m. Thursday. The property was located and returned to the owner.
