According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Joseph A. Williams, 38, of North Lewisburg was arrested for disorderly conduct – offensive gesture or noise in the 17000 block of Route 31 at 8:59 a.m. Tuesday.
Elizabeth Devin West, 27, of North Lewisburg was arrested for disorderly conduct – fighting or threatening in the 17000 block of Route 31 at 9:43 a.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of theft by deception in the 16000 block of Allenby Drive at 2:10 p.m. Tuesday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 1000 block of Charles Lane at 4:40 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate three credit cards and a counterfeit $10 bill where turned into MPD from a local restaurant.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 200 block of Collins Avenue at 5:33 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate a phone was stolen from the laundromat.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Timothy A. Gwilliams, 51, of Poling Road and Izik Ryan Shifflet, 20, of Cable that occurred on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 4:12 p.m. Tuesday. Reports indicate Gwilliams was at the stop sign at the Wal-Mart exit, facing east. He turned left on Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. and did not yield to the oncoming traffic, causing him to strike Shifflet’s vehicle while he was traveling north on the roadway. Reports indicate neither driver experienced any injuries. Gwilliams was cited for a stop sign violation.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Julius L. Neal, 23, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:09 a.m. Monday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Andrews Place to investigate a possible burglary at 3:20 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 32000 block of Route 31 to investigate a burglary where electrical supplies and a jewelry box were stolen at 11:04 a.m. Monday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 19000 block of Pine Lane to investigate the theft of a clothes dryer and two air conditioners at 12:12 a.m. Monday.
A deputy investigated a burglary that occurred at a residence in the 32000 block of Route 31 at 12:23 a.m. Monday.
A deputy met with a Marion County Probation Officer to take custody of Jennifer N. Steuber, 32, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:40 p.m. Monday. She was transported to Memorial Hospital and released on a recognizance bond.
A deputy met with a resident from the 10000 block of Ketch Road to investigate possible fraud involving an online auction site at 3:11 p.m. Monday.
Deputies assisted the Richwood Police Department with a domestic dispute between a father and son at a residence on West Ottawa Street at 7:22 p.m. Monday.
A deputy and a Richwood Police Officer went to a residence on West Ottawa Street to arrest Jeffrey D. Riffle, 38, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:12 p.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted the Marysville Police Department with a fight involving several people in the 500 block of Allenby Drive at 9:22 p.m. Monday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 42 near Wells Road, deputies arrested Michael B. Cox Jr., 33, of Marion for an outstanding arrest warrant from the Westerville Police Department at 11:15 p.m. Monday. He was transferred to the custody of a Westerville Police Officer.
A deputy responded to the 9000 block of Persimmon Place to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2017 Toyota Camry that was struck by a 2008 Honda CR-V at 9:41 a.m. Tuesday. The driver of the Honday, Vijay M. Britto, 39, of Plain City was issued a traffic citation for improper starting and backing.
A deputy and units from the Union Township Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to an injury crash in the 9000 block of Route 4 involving a 2018 Jeep Compass that struck a tree at 10:12 p.m. Tuesday. The State Patrol investigated a crash.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 32000 block of Osborne Road to investigate identity theft involving a social security scam at 2:22 p.m. Tuesday.
A deputy met with a Dublin Police Officer to take custody of Alicia K. Hornsby, 37, of Dublin for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:41 p.m. Tuesday. She was transported to the Marysville Police Department and released after posting a bond.
