Gary William O’Connor, 23, of First Street was cited for an open liquor container while operating a motor vehicle and speeding on Mary Place at 2:59 a.m. Wednesday.
Anna Dezaray Roe, 24, of E. Fourth Street was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 11:50 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate she was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Joseph A. Miller, 34, of Richwood was arrested on a warrant service arrest in the 500 block of London Avenue at 1:13 p.m. Wednesday.
Alan L. Wertz, 49, of Raymond was cited for no operator’s license on Route 31 at 9:47 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a mental health issue at 3:22 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of theft at 5 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of recovered property on U.S. 33 eastbound at mile marker 13 at 2:48 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a social security card was found in the area.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies were sent to a residence in the 7900 block of Industrial Parkway for a dispute between a grandmother and a granddaughter at 12:24 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Scottslawn Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda Accord that drove off the road and into a ditch at 12:41 p.m. Wednesday. The driver, Thomas G. Dickson, 34, of Galion was issued a traffic citation for failure to control a vehicle.
A deputy met with a resident from South Main Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate the theft of money from a wallet at 2:45 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department, Liberty Township Fire Department and Marysville Fire Department responded to the 19000 block of Route 739 for an injury crash involving a 2007 Ford Escape that was struck by a 2006 Chevrolet Malibu, which caused the Ford Escape to then strike a 2019 Toyota Camry at 3:35 p.m. Wednesday. One victim was transported to Memorial Hospital. The driver of the Ford, Jade A. Massie, 29, of Marion was issued a traffic citation for failure to yield the right of way when turning left.
A Union County deputy met with a Delaware County deputy to take custody of John P. Farmer, 38, of Sunbury for an outstanding arrest warrant at 5:19 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy investigated an injury crash that occurred on the U.S. 33 westbound exit ramp to Northwest Parkway involving a 2015 Jeep Patriot that was struck from behind by a 2004 Jeep Liberty at 5:44 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 25000 block of Claibourne Road to investigate damage to a political sign at 6:12 p.m. Wednesday.
As a result of a traffic stop on U.S. 33 near U.S. 42, deputies arrested Christopher W. Cook, 54, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 8:15 p.m. Wednesday. He was also charged with driving under suspension. He was transported to the Marysville Police Department and released after posting a bond.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department responded to Raymond Road south of Paver Barnes Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 1970 Pontiac GTO that drove off the road, struck a traffic sign and then a concrete culvert at 8:23 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Route 739 to investigate a domestic dispute between a boyfriend and girlfriend at 8:57 p.m. Wednesday.
