According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Phu Vo, 39, of Columbus was cited for driving while under the influence on Delaware Avenue at 2:05 a.m. Monday.
Travis J. Cole, 29, whose address is listed as the streets of Marysville, was cited for domestic violence in the 100 block of W. Ninth Street at 6:58 a.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of criminal damaging in the 200 block of S. Court Street at 5:28 a.m. Monday. Individuals at First United Methodist Church reported a “mentally disturbed” person was in their lobby.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 900 block of E. Fifth Street at 4:53 p.m. Monday.
Police responded to a report of an accident involving a hit-skip driver and Michelle Sessler, 51, of Richwood that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 3:46 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate the first vehicle was inside the Moo Moo Car Wash when employees requested the vehicle be put in neutral. The driver allegedly put his vehicle in drive, striking the rear of Sessler’s vehicle in front of him. The hit-skip driver left the scene without exchanging information.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Jonathan D. Blackburn, 42, of Marantha Drive, Laura D. Rettig, 50, of Kenton and Sydney Marie Cooper, 22, of Sassafras Lane that occurred on Delaware Avenue at 6:04 p.m. Monday. Reports indicate Rettig was eastbound on Delaware Avenue. As she went through the intersection of Delaware Avenue and Charles Lane, she reportedly stopped with traffic. Cooper was directly behind Rettig and also stopped. Blackburn was behind Cooper and failed to stop. He struck Cooper’s vehicle, which forced her into Rettig’s vehicle. Rettig’s vehicle also left the roadway to the right, striking the curb and a traffic signal post. Blackburn and Rettig did not experience any apparent injuries. Cooper experienced possible injuries. Blackburn was cited for failure to control.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of North Darby Coe Road for a dispute between family members at 12:07 a.m. Monday.
A deputy went to the Butler County Jail to take custody of Nicole M. Holzen, 30, of Dayton for an outstanding arrest warrant at 7:57 a.m. Monday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Central Ohio Youth Center to take custody of Brandon M. Bowsher, 18, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:11 a.m. Monday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 15000 block of Paver Barnes Road to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim and a fraudulent tax refund at 4:53 p.m. Monday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 7000 block of Nature Way to investigate harassment involving social media websites at 9:24 p.m. Monday.
