Police responded to a report of endangering children in the 1300 block of Miami Drive at 9:01 a.m. Thursday.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
While investigating a driving complaint on U.S. 42, a deputy stopped the suspect vehicle, a 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee near Jerome Road at 3:12 a.m. Thursday. As a result of the investigation, Tyler A. Carter, 29, of Delaware was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. He was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 42 near Smart Cole Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis that jumped out of a moving vehicle at 7:19 a.m. Thursday. The person was transported to Riverside Methodist Hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 16000 block of Robinson Road to investigate a domestic dispute between brothers at 9:21 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 11000 block of Cedar Crest Drive to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 10:06 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy went to the Fayette County Jail to take custody of Sharrod D. Taylor, 48, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 10:15 a.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Leeper Perkins Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 11:14 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy investigated a report of illegal dumping on Fox Road near Barnett Road at 1:05 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy went to the Logan County Jail to take custody of Juanita M. Hanson, 38, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 2:11 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a resident from the 8000 block of Scheiderer Road to investigate identity theft involving a fraudulent unemployment claim at 2:40 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy was dispatched to the 18000 block of Route 31 to take possession of a license plate that was found along the roadway at 3:04 p.m. Thursday. The license plate was returned to the owner.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Sheri L. York, 51, of Marysville for a bond violation at 3:26 p.m. Thursday. She was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was sent to the Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Jeffrey D. Riffle, 39, of Richwood for a bond violation at 4:36 p.m. Thursday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies investigated a domestic dispute between a husband and wife that occurred at a residence in the 20000 block of Dog Leg Road at 5:13 p.m. Thursday.
