Police responded to a curfew violation in the 800 block of Amrine Mill Road at 1:16 a.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 14000 block of Route 4 at 12:57 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate an unknown person has been sending anonymous emails to Marysville Exempted Village School District staff members.
Police responded to a suicide attempt in the 200 block of S. Maple Street at 8:58 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of a dispute in the 500 block of Poppy Lane at 11:29 p.m. Friday.
Dexter Bryce Coffey, 18, of Route 739 was cited for an underage person purchasing, possessing or consuming alcohol; open container; and squealing tires on Delaware Avenue at 4:51 a.m. Sunday. Reports indicate the citations stemmed from a traffic stop at 1:59 a.m. Sunday.
Brice Phillips, 25, of Poppy Lane was cited for cruelty to companion animals in the 1000 block of N. Main Street at 6:55 p.m. Sunday.
Police responded to a report of breaking and entering in the 1400 block of Milford Avenue at 2:45 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate a storage unit in Stow Away Storage was broken into.
Police responded to a report of public indecency in the 300 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 3:42 p.m. Sunday. Reports indicate MPD responded to the Arby’s parking lot in reference to a public indecency complaint.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Larry J. Banks, 31, of Columbus for an outstanding arrest warrant at 11:01 a.m. Friday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a property damage crash involving a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado and an impaired driver in the 200 block of South Franklin Street at 8:27 p.m. Friday.
A deputy went to the Franklin County Jail to take custody of Kimberly K. Trimmer, 47, of Columbus and Nathan A. Fedor, 37, of Columbus for outstanding arrest warrants at 1:01 a.m. Saturday. Both were transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy responded to the 13000 block of Route 38 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2005 Honda S2000 that drove off the road and into a ditch at 1:10 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Liberty Township Fire Department were dispatched to a residence in the 23000 block of Route 31 for an unresponsive person at 2:52 a.m. Saturday. The person was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department and the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the 24000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2007 International semi-truck that drove off the road and into a ditch and a yard at 7:37 a.m. Saturday. The driver, Mark W. Whitlock, 41, of Nashville, Tennesse was issued a traffic citation for failure to control.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 14000 block of Miller Road for a person threatening self-harm at 8:51 a.m. Saturday.
A deputy investigated the theft of a water heater from a camper at a property in the 23000 block of Holycross-Epps Road at 2:33 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Allen Township Fire Department responded to U.S. 33 near Poling Road for a person possibly experiencing a drug overdose in a vehicle at 11:47 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a person experiencing a mental health crisis in the 100 block of West Ottawa Street at 12:02 a.m. Sunday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to a residence in the 30000 block of Alder Road for a person experiencing a mental health crisis at 2:56 a.m. Sunday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Leeper Perkins Road for a domestic dispute between a father and a son at 3:30 p.m. Sunday. The parties were separated.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 12000 block of Maple Ridge Road to investigate the theft of a license plate from a trailer at 6:27 p.m. Sunday.
Deputies assisted the Champaign County Sheriff’s Office in the area of Middleburg Plain City Road and Bishop Road searching for a person threatening self-harm at 4:04 p.m. Sunday. The person was located.
