According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Paul T. Chambwinja, 44, of Columbus was cited for driving while under the influence of alcohol/drugs, open liquor container, FRA/non-compliance suspension, driving under an OVI or ALS suspension and use of illegal license plates; transfer of registration in the 1300 block of W. Fifth Street at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate the arrest stemmed from an incident in which MPD was called to Village Pantry in reference to a drunk individual.
Police responded to a suicide threat in the 1200 block of W. Fifth Street at 2:56 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a report of suspicious conditions and recovered property in the 1700 block of Damos Way at 3:47 a.m. Thursday. The reporting person indicated someone was trying to break into the back door of their residence.
Police responded to a report of recovered property in the 400 block of W. Fifth Street at 7:49 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a wallet was turned into MPD.
Police responded to a report of improperly discharging a firearm in the 1800 block of Chiprock Drive at 9:31 a.m. Thursday. Reports indicate police responded to the listed location in reference to a bullet being found in the siding of the reporting person’s residence.
Police responded to a report of telephone harassment in the 300 block of W. Third Street at 10:11 a.m. Thursday.
Police responded to a dog bite in the 800 block of Lora Lee Drive at 4:47 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a female was bitten by a dog.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving a hitskip driver that occurred on Scottslawn Road at 8:59 p.m. Thursday. Reports indicate a vehicle was parked in a marked parking spot. According to damage, another vehicle was in the spot north of that vehicle. The first vehicle backed out of the spot and cut the wheel too sharp. The front passenger side of the vehicle was scraped along the front driver’s side of the other vehicle.
Gregory James Yant, 23, of Delaware was cited for theft in the 500 block of Coleman’s Crossing Blvd. at 5:41 p.m. Friday. Reports indicate the citation stemmed from an incident in which MPD responded to Walmart on the report of a theft in progress. Yant was apprehended and the property was recovered.
Nicholas Anthony Robinson, 31, of Rosewood Drive was cited for violating a protection order or consent agreement or anti-stalking in the 1600 block of Bay Laurel Drive at 9:02 p.m. Friday.
Police responded to a report of breaking and entering in the 500 block of N. Main Street at 11:11 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a lock was cut off of a storage unit at the N. Main Street storage units.
Police responded to a report of domestic violence – knowingly causing physical harm in the 1300 block of Mill Park Drive at 10:09 p.m. Saturday. Reports indicate a juvenile was taken into custody for domestic violence.

Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 13000 block of Route 47 to attempt to locate a person threatening self-harm at 2:58 a.m. Thursday. The person was found at a residence in Marysville and the matter was turned over to the Marysville Police Department.
A deputy assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a dispute between a male and female at a business on East Bomford Street at 11:28 a.m. Thursday.
A deputy investigated damage to a window at a residence in the 15000 block of Jolly Road at 6:24 p.m. Thursday.
A deputy assisted a Plain City Police Officer with an impaired driver on South Chillicothe Street in Plain City at 6:56 p.m. Thursday.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Brett T. Bonsel, 23, of Howard for an outstanding arrest warrant at 12:27 a.m. Friday. He was released on his own recognizance.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 31000 block of McPeck Road to investigate a domestic dispute between an ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend at 1:26 a.m. Friday.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 18000 block of Cunningham Arbela Road for an unruly juvenile at 10:33 a.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the 22000 block of Darby Pottersburg Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2002 Freightliner semi-truck and a 2013 Mack truck at 12:55 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated unwanted text messages that occurred at a residence in the 21000 block of Route 245 at 2:51 p.m. Friday.
A deputy responded to the intersection of Route 31 and Miller Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2015 Kia Optima that was struck by an unknown white semi-truck that fled the scene eastbound on Miller Road at 3:04 p.m. Friday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 22000 block of Jackson Road to investigate a trespassing complaint at 5:02 p.m. Friday.
A deputy investigated unwanted text messages and phone calls that occurred at a residence in the 22000 block of Hoover Bault Road at 7:42 p.m. Friday.
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District were dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of Route 31 for a domestic fight between a husband and wife at 8:35 p.m. Friday. After further investigation, Lee A. Alderson, 50, of Raymond was arrested for domestic violence. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies assisted a Richwood Police Officer with a domestic dispute at a residence on North Franklin Street at 1:31 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 14000 block of Sycamore Drive for a person found deceased by family members at 6:25 a.m. Saturday. The Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
Deputies and units from the Pleasant Valley Fire District, the Marysville Fire Department and the Ohio State Highway Patrol responded to Route 736 near Fladt Road for an injury crash involving a 2007 Dodge Caliber at 6:50 a.m. Saturday. The State Patrol investigated the crash.
A deputy investigated fraudulent activity that occurred in the 21000 block of Main Street of Raymond at 12:12 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 11000 block of U.S. 36 to investigate a domestic dispute between sisters at 12:25 p.m. Saturday.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department were sent to a residence in the 9000 block of Redwood Circle for a domestic dispute between a mother and her son at 3:02 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy was sent to a residence on West Magnetic Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a neighbor harassment complaint at 5:46 p.m. Saturday.
A deputy met with a Marysville Police Officer to take custody of Mason R. Fox, 21, of Bellefontaine for an outstanding arrest warrant at 6:17 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy met with a Columbus Police Officer to take custody of Frank B. Borghese, 34, of Marysville for an outstanding arrest warrant at 9:17 p.m. Saturday. He was taken to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies responded to Route 4 south of Tawa Road for a property damage crash involving a 2014 Kia Sorento that drove off the road and into a ditch at 11:22 p.m. Saturday. After further investigation, the driver, Bonnie S. Macroy, 58, of Marion was arrested for operating a vehicle while under the influence. She was transported to the Sheriff’s Office.
Deputies and units from the Plain City Police Department were dispatched to an alarm at a business in the 7300 block of Route 161 at 11:28 p.m. Saturday. After further investigation, it was determined the business had been broken into and several items were stolen.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 20000 block of Peoria Loop Road to investigate a neighbor dispute at 4:46 p.m. Sunday.
A deputy investigated unwanted text messages that were received at a residence in the 15000 block of Meadowbrook Drive at 9:49 p.m. Sunday.
According to Ohio State Highway Patrol reports:
Troopers responded to the scene of an accident involving Cheray Lillard, 27, of Galloway that occurred on Route 736 at mile marker 5 at 6:51 a.m. Saturday. Reports indicate Lillard was traveling northbound on Route 736 when she drove off the right side of the roadway and rolled her vehicle multiple times. Lillard was wearing her seatbelt, but sustained suspected minor injuries and was transported to Memorial Hospital of Union County by Jerome Township Division of Fire and EMS. She was cited for operating a vehicle without reasonable control. She was not under the influence of drugs or alcohol. There were no passengers in her vehicle.
