According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to an incident of theft of a motor vehicle in the 300 block of Terrace Court at 6:22 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a maroon Saturn was stolen from a parking spot. It was located a short distance away by MPD units.
Police responded to a civil standby in the 400 block of Chestnut Street at 3:31 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a local resident reported a civil matter.
MPD responded to assist another agency in the 800 block of Hickory Drive at 4:20 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate a female was transported by medics for overdosing on heroin and fentanyl.
Police responded to a report of vandalism in the 1800 block of Cooks Blvd. at 11:43 p.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate windows were broken at Cooke’s Point.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
Deputies and units from the Northern Union County Fire and EMS District responded to the 26000 block of Route 37 for an injury crash involving a 2014 Ford C-Max that drove off the road, struck a mailbox and then overturned into a field at 12:36 a.m. Wednesday. The driver, Payton H. Bevins, 22, of Milford Center was charged with operating a vehicle while under the influence, failure to control and driving under suspension.
A deputy was dispatched to a business in the 23000 block of Route 4 to investigate a property damage crash involving a semi-truck that struck a pole in the parking lot and then left the scene at 6:28 a.m. Wednesday.
The Union County Dog Warden was sent to a residence in the 14000 block of Weaver Road for a dog running loose on neighboring properties at 9:43 a.m. Wednesday. The owner of the dog, Jamie L. Haas, 42, of Marysville was charged with failure to control her dog.
A Union County deputy met with a Marion County deputy to take custody of Jacob A. Smith, 25, of Richwood for an outstanding arrest warrant at 1:01 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 33000 block of Fields Road to investigate a domestic dispute between a grandmother and granddaughter at 5:16 p.m. Wednesday.
