A deputy responded to the 12000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a property damage crash involving an unknown make or model vehicle that drove off the road, struck four mailboxes and left the scene Thursday at 7:44 a.m.
A deputy met with a resident from the 12000 block of Weaver Road to investigate identity theft involving the victim’s social security number being used to file a false income tax return Thursday at 8:08 a.m.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to the intersection of County Home road and Waldo Road to investigate an injury crash involving a 2003 Ford Explorer that drove off the road, struck a utility pole and rolled onto its side Thursday at 1:01 p.m.
Deputies responded to the roundabout at Route 161 and Eiterman Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2011 Chevrolet van that struck the back of a 2015 Buick Encore Thursday at 5:26 p.m. The driver of the Chevrolet, Christopher A. Jones, 49, of Vermilion, was issued a traffic citation for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Deputies were sent to a residence on North Main Street in Magnetic Springs to investigate a possible protection order violation Thursday at 7:51 p.m.
