According to Marysville Police Department reports:
Police responded to a report of a missing juvenile in the 600 block of Kenny Lane at 10:47 a.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to a report of conveyance or possession of a deadly weapon in the 14000 block of Route 4 at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. The reporting person advised that a student brought a knife on the school bus.
Police responded to a report of theft in the 100 block of Riverwind Drive at 6:18 p.m. Wednesday.
Police responded to the scene of an accident involving Holly A. Mays, 32, of West Mansfield and a juvenile driver that occurred on Maple Street at 11:24 a.m. Wednesday. Reports indicate Mays was stopped in southbound traffic when the juvenile driver struck the rear of her vehicle. Neither driver experienced any apparent injuries. The juvenile driver was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
According to Union County Sheriff’s Office reports:
A deputy responded to the 13000 block of Watkins Road to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2020 Chevrolet Equinox that struck a deer at 5:52 a.m. Wednesday.
A deputy responded to the 22000 block of Route 739 to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2010 Honda Civic that struck a deer at 6:40 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies investigated a property damage crash that occurred on U.S. 33 west of Scottslawn Road involving a 2011 Jaguar XJL that struck the rear of a 2019 International semi-truck and then fled the scene at 8:31 a.m. Wednesday. The Jaguar was later stopped on U.S. 33 near the Union/Franklin County Line. The driver of the Jaguar, Joshua A. M. Stephens, 29, of Marysville was issued traffic citations for failure to drive in marked lanes and failure to stop after an accident.
A deputy responded to the 13000 block of Industrial Parkway to investigate a property damage crash involving a 2002 Volkswagen Passat that struck a deer at 10:42 a.m. Wednesday.
Deputies went to West Magnetic Street in Magnetic Springs to arrest James O. Combs, 38, of Marysville for outstanding arrest warrants from Madison County and Franklin County at 11:57 a.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies and units from the Jerome Township Fire Department responded to the 8900 block of Warner Road for an injury crash involving a 2001 Freightliner semi-truck that drove off the road and rolled onto its side at 12:15 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies were dispatched to a residence in the 24000 block of Route 47 to investigate a scam attempt allegedly involving the U.S. Marshals Service and the United States Treasury at 1:04 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to investigate a person on probation tampering with a urine sample at 2:27 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was sent to the Union County Adult Probation Office on Route 4 to take custody of Joseph A. Hamilton, 45, of Marysville for a bond violation at 2:51 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
Deputies went to the Allen County Jail to take custody of Antoine L. Roberson, 29, of Lima for an outstanding arrest warrant at 3:50 p.m. Wednesday. He was transported to the Tri-County Regional Jail.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 25000 block of Storms Road to investigate the theft of money and threats that were made by a former resident at 4:22 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Leesburg Township Fire Department were sent to a residence on South Main Street in Magnetic Springs for a person threatening self-harm at 5:09 p.m. Wednesday. The person was transported to Memorial Hospital.
A deputy was sent to a residence in the 23000 block of Davis Road to investigate a credit card fraud attempt at 5:32 p.m. Wednesday.
A deputy was dispatched to a residence in the 26000 block of Lunda Road to investigate identity theft involving the victim’s personal information and credit cards at 6:55 p.m. Wednesday.
Deputies and units from the Northwestern Fire District and the Allen Township Fire Department responded to a residence in the 25000 block of Route 31 for an unresponsive person at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday. The person was pronounced deceased and the Union County Coroner was called to the scene.
Deputies and units from the Marysville Fire Department responded to a residence in the 13000 block of U.S. 36 for an overdose at 9:44 p.m. Wednesday. The victim was transported to Memorial Hospital.
